Horacio Rueda
Welcome!I am an economist working in macroeconomics, development, labor, and trade.
My research explores how firms, markets, and economic structure shape aggregate outcomes and their distribution. I study how imperfect competition and market power affect firms and labor markets, and how economic development reshapes the allocation of workers and economic activity across sectors.
I completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Houston in 2026. I am currently an Assistant Professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey.
